Cultural Competence and Management in the Globalized Business
In an era of diverse teams, cultural issues have created misunderstandings, which can affect a firm’s performance as well as profitability. In today’s globalized working environment, cultural differences represent a challenging organizational issue due to the over-generalization of national identities, as well as organizations’ tendency to neglect deep cultural competence training. In this presentation Leila Valoura will discuss the development of cultural competence in the workplace as well as how this can positively affect organizations’ management.
